Thoughts and musings of a female firefighter.

About Adrienne

I’m Adrienne. I’m a mom, a firefighter-paramedic, and a fitness enthusiast. I started this space to share the truth, the fails, the struggles, and the triumphs about my 20 year journey as a female firefighter. I also do many public speaking events about firefighting an WATT NOT!

Blog Posts

I started this blog with the hope that I could help women in the fire service, law enforcement and any other first response service to feel heard and seen. I share my stories of struggles and triumphs to encourage you, make you laugh and sometimes make you cry. I’m here to support you along your journey. Feel free to reach out to! I’d love to chat!

Fitness

I’ve been a fitness enthusiast for as long as I can remember. In the fire service you must be strong and capable in order to do your job. I am a strong believer that no one is ever fully fit and ready for the job. It is a constant effort and part of my daily life, and all I can do is consistently work at being my best for the job. Here I’ll share my fitness tips, exercises and videos to help you achieve your goals.

Education

As a TEEX instructor I am able to connect with hundreds, if not thousands of cadets working their way to their dream, as well as bringing continuing education into the fire houses. I strive to fill the tool boxes of tips, trick, and techniques for everyone I come in contact with. It isn’t all about being a female for me. Its about the love of firefighting, and being a Paramedic. Leadership development is my passion, and I’ve got plenty to share.
