Adrienne Pierce Watts
Adrienne is from the beautiful city of New Braunfels, Texas and have served full time in the fire services for 20 years. She currently serves as an instructor for the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service. She began her career with TEEX in December 2014 as an Adjunct Instructor for the Recruit Academy where she has taught the next generation of firefighters from all over the world for the last 6 years. She served as a (TCFP) Master Firefighter/Licensed Paramedic at the rank of Engineer for the Canyon Lake Fire Department for more than 16 years. She began her career in the Fire Service in 2001 with Lacy Lakeview Fire Department as well as Bruceville- Eddy EMS as an Emergency Medical Technician. In 2003, She was awarded the Silent Hero of Texas Award, Firefighter of the Year and Dispatcher of the Year while working as a Police Dispatcher for the Lacy Lakeview Police Department. She then transitioned closer to home with the Canyon Lake Fire Department in 2004. From 2006-2009, on her days off, she served as a Flight Coordinator for San Antonio AirLife. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences (Summa Cum Laude) in Fire and Emergency Services Administration from Texas A&M University in San Antonio. She is certified by the Texas Commission on Fire Protection as a Driver/Operator, Wildland Firefighter, Hazmat Technician, Fire Officer IV, Master Level III Instructor, and Master Firefighter. Additionally, she is a Swift Water Rescue Technician – Advanced and a Department of State and Health Services EMS Instructor. She is the recipient of 6 Life Saving Awards and 1 Medal of Valor.
